Tahj & Co. to Launch ‘7’ by Bri Tahj on July 7th, 2024
A Dazzling Collab Between Tahj & Co. & Trbleshooter is Brewing.
ROC, New York, June 1st, 2024- How can we save the youth from the unsettling grip that the media has on their adolescence? To author Bri Tahj, the answer is simple: Through education and virtue, of course. This ego driven relationship between society and the media has plummeted communities into a mental health crisis that blemishes the outlets (media) that were intended to be used for creativity, collaboration, and free/fluid expression and thought. Tahj & Co. announced today that their newest publication, ‘ TRBLESHOOTERS 7: The Chosen’, is launching on July 7th, 2024.
TRBLESHOOTERS 7: The Chosen is a compelling children’s book that follows a classic hero’s journey alongside protagonist/hero Sevynn Indigo. This particular voyage highlights the adverse effects of the media on the youth and tackles how to approach the hardships that the usage of media presents in a child appropriate manner. The book also serves as an educational tool in literature as it acts as the preface to 7: The Eklektos, which will be a traditional, lengthy epic style poem for children (more details to follow). Although targeted at the youth, readers of all ages can enjoy and appreciate the writing, illustrations, and motifs of this book. Through collaboration with Trbleshooter Design Studio, Tahj & Co. has transformed TRBLESHOOTERS 7: The Chosen into TRBLESHOOTERS 7: A ‘Color Your Story’book. This coloring book installment is intended to provoke creativity and imagination whilst bringing storytelling back to coloring. The coloring book will outlay the storyboard in black and white and feature key vocab from the story.
Themes: leadership, discernment, 7 deadly sins/ 7 virtues, ‘right’ vs ‘wrong’, teamwork, courage, independent/free thought, seeking higher learning, confidence, humility.
Bri Tahj is the chief author, publisher, journalist, and poetic mastermind of Tahj & Co. She achieved her degree in Journalism and Communications in 2017 and now spearheads the successful publishing company which has a wide range of publications from T&C. Magazine to this latest children's book release. Founded in 2021, Tahj & Co. Writing & Publishing focuses on exemplary publishing, prose, and penmanship. Tahj’s navigation through motherhood, experience with creative writing, and study of psychological effects of media on society as someone who’s grown up in an internet dominated era substantiates her position on this subject matter.
Aquil Majors is the artist and illustrator behind the brilliant animation of ‘ TRBLESHOOTERS 7’. His creativity has led him to a multitude of endeavors including art design, clothing design, brand development, creative direction, and much more. He is the founder and organizer of Trbleshooter Design Co- home of the builders. Majors’ extensive portfolio of art, youth driven projects, and community outreach made him the perfect candidate for this project.
The decision to collaborate between the two creators almost felt instinctual according to Tahj. She knew that the story of ‘7’ needed to be captured by an artist who could really bring the character to life. Her descriptive writing skills combined with Majors’ eye catching/alluring drawing style creates an exciting experience for consumers across the board, and especially, children.
On 7/31/24, the pair will host 7 Lights The Way- a launch day event. The book will soft launch and be available for pre-order on 7/7/24. Both installments will officially launch on event day and will be available for purchase at the event space as well as online through the author’s website www.Tahjandco.com. The gallery-like walkthrough will showcase a rollout of TRBLESHOOTERS 7: The Chosen. The event is open to the public and there is even a contest and special giveaway involved.
