sometimes makes me wonder...

Maybe thats why

the sun always shines

         after it thunders 

Maybe thats why 

our mothers 

         never warned us

Maybe thats why

         malign monsters 

practice bloodshed 

only after 

being heartbroken 

by something

that once warmed them 

The darkest nights lead to lovelier mornings

And 

The devil's grotesque wings

are still branded gracefullly with

beauty marks 

from when 

he was god's chosen one 

Maybe thats why

       even the angels fuck up 

You see

       even the villains are fighting for their loved ones 

       the ones they need close to them

Look like the innocent flower

but 

be the serpent 

under it.
